My first photo posted here taken outside of Scotland. This was taken in White Sands National Monument in New Mexico . It's not snow, it's a gypsum sand dune.

This one's got an amazing amount of contrast and detail in the sand, considering the challenges of exposing white-as-snow subjects. Beautiful blue sky and minimalist composition. Works well with the plant offset in the foreground. :)
